Easter Story Food FunBy clicking on the link here, you will be taken to an Easter story cookie recipe that has students actively participating in the cookie making process. Below, I have created a powerpoint with the associated bible verses, and pictures to help imagine the story. If your school is a "nut free" school, some different variations to try out would be crushing up chocolate chips, or mint candies (my absolute favorite!).

Another fun food activity is to make Resurrection Buns. These are a tasty treat and quite easy to do! I start off the class with a review of the Stations of the Cross (for children--dowloadable above), and then continue with the recipe. Just a word of caution-- try and make the marshmallow completely covered up so you won't be scraping sticky burnt marshmallow off the bottom of your pan! ;) |

JeopardyAs a final class before Easter you can have fun assessing how much the students remember about Lent by playing Jeopardy! Complete with questions, answers, and music, all you need is a Smartboard and possibly individual whiteboards for students to write their answers down as a team! Enjoy :-)
